Andrew McHardy

Andrew, “And”, was born in a tavern to a young wench and a traveling merchant captain. The merchant captain arranged to have young Andrew taken into a monastery so he did not have another child after is inheritance. He learned to read and write in several languages while he was there, but the rest of it was none too appealing to him. At fifteen, he set out on his own and started working as a porter at the docks. He got a whole new education there. This life suited him quite well.
One day while sleeping off a good drunk, he woke up to find himself on the deck of a ship. He was informed that he was now in the service of his majesty’s navy and he better get to work. It didn’t take long for him to decide that he did not like this boat at all, so he set about a plan to sink it or leave.
Eventually the captain decided it was time to go hunting pirates. Andrew decided this would be a perfect time to escape. As soon as the ships collided, he pushed the “evil” captain (that’s how he tells it) overboard… of course he shot him and stabbed him first (no sense taking chances).
Well, as luck would have it, the pirate captain liked the distraction that Andrew had caused. After intense negotiations (a.k.a., fistfights), it was agreed that “And” was the new Bosun.
Jerry Perry

The acting bug bit Jerry Perry in elementary school, but he successfully killed it before junior high and had considered himself cured. He originally had plans to become an electronics engineer, and possibly a career in the military. Instead, he studied aikido briefly, boxed for a year, and spent the rest of his time administering networks and rock climbing.
