One pirate, no -- two; one Captain; one twit;
It's lightning-fast swordplay and rapier wit.
It's tumbling and charging and swashbuckling fun;
It's a great new show called Cut, Thrust And Run!
Cuthbert Talbert, the pirate, the rogue -
He breaks women's hearts wherever he goes.
But don't ever cross him; once the challenge is made,
He'll "Cut" with his words as well as his blade.
Sir William Holmes is the blade for hire,
While rescuing damsels is his hearts great desire.
His middle initial, T., stands for "Thrust";
A name well-earned in battle, and elsewhere, we trust.
Andrew McCarthy's as sharp as his knife;
Which has served him quite well in his pirating life.
He's clever and witty, but sometimes he's a rat,
So don't call him "Andy" -- it's "And," and that's that.
Last, but not least
-- well, then again...
Welbert isn't exactly the brightest of men.
A pirate by trade; a bigger fool you've not met.
He'll "Run" away with the show, on that you can bet!
Rapiers, daggers,
and WOW! What a staff!
You won't know whether to gasp, cringe or laugh.
Armed to the teeth, they will fight to the death,
or at least until one of them calls for a rest.
With the clashing of
quips and the clanging of swords,
They'll leave you begging and pleading for more.
They'll capture and plunder your heart with their charms;
No doubt they'll have the whole crowd up in arms!

The
Cut, Thrust, And, Run® Show
is a swashbuckling comedy with a fruit-o-shish twist. Tumbling,
gymnastics and comedy accentuate the exciting swordplay of the only four
person combat show on the Ren faire circuit. The blades swish! The
jokes fly! The combatants fall! The fruit cringes! (Come see
the show and all will be explained)
The members of Cut, Thrust, And, Run have a combined total of 86
years of theater experience. In addition they have 60 years of
combined training in stage combat. Included in the mix of
certifications are two stuntmen, a stage-combat directors, four
stage combat choreographers, and they continue to grow to this day.
The show itself harkens back to the days of Vaudeville (a passion of
the groups' members). Incorporating comedy, combat, singing, and
dancing to capitalize on the extensive training of the individual group
members. Speaking of the members, this group, rather uniquely,
started with four friends who found that they enjoyed performing together.
Luckily, audiences really enjoy them performing together as well!
The show is entertaining because the actors are having fun entertaining
the audience. So join the camaraderie, laughter and merriment of
Cut, Thrust and Run®!
